Jamie's Flea Market in Amherst, Ohio

I have gone to Jamie's now for the last month, usually on Wednesdays....LOTS AND LOTS of outside vendors, along with the standard inside vendors. Great vegetables and flowers. If you are in for adventure, this is the place to find that secret treasure. Don't worry, you will also find those one of a kind individuals walking around. So you never get bored!! Lots to see!

San Francisco Gem & Mineral Show 2007

This past weekend was the first time I attended the San Francisco Gem & Mineral Show put on by the SF Gem & Mineral Society. It was held in the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. There were 2 rooms, one with displays of various items made or collected by the society members, the other room was full of dealers. You cold buy rocks, beads, minerals, fossils, from all over the planet. Items were sold from 50 cents for beads to thousands of dollars for fossils and gold nuggets. This is one show I plan to go to from now on.

I've been to the last three Casino Chip a Gaming Token Collectors Club conventions and every year they get better and better. If you are a chipper, silver striker or just like to look at casino memorabilia then this is the convention for you!! I'll see you at the Rivieria Hotel and Casino Aug. 8-11 in Las Vegas this year!!

Hal Lutsky Paper Shows

First off they are really good shows: lots of dealers with tons of vintage paper and tons of postcards (which are my personal favorite). I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been to half a dozen shows out in Concord and the new show in SF, and I have never been disappointed. Lutsky has a website that provides info on show dates and locations so if you're in the western US you might want to check it out.

This is a nice little sunday only flea market. Most of the sellers are collectibe dealers, you wont find any new import items here. Give it a try, there are always some good deals to be had.
